A branding project from the ground up. The end-goal was to create a visual strat- egy for a start-up restaurant in San Francisco, with expansion potential. The logo embraces the ‘green’ aspects, ethos, and drivers, behind the inception of the restaurant.

Beyond the simple fact that the restaurant primarily serves gourmet salads, the owners follow a strict environmental philosophy, and their business reflects this in every detail of the operation. The branding has to reinforce and fortify their philosophy, as well as the corresponding consumer experience. Deliverables included, company palette, and an on-going ‘design maintenance’ relationship offering input, and direction, on design and aesthetic directions as venture continues to expand.

Each location has a unique exterior, So each exterior branding treatment requires a custom fit. Implementation of the brand ranged from the sandwich- boards out on the sidewalk in front, to embroidery on the caps sold to the public and worn by staff.
