A simple, straight-forward type treatment was called for. The fusion of the ’B’ and the P’ into a single graphical element presented visual balance issues which were successfully addressed and the results visually stable. The palette is a reserved combination of ‘nautical-esque’ hues. The desired effect is to evoke an urban waterfront skyline, with its glass, water, and steel surfaces playing off one another. This speaks of the San Francisco base for the company and to the financial district neighborhood where their offices are located.
