The typeface has a western feel, this was chosen to bespeak the San Francisco/west coast roots of the product. Asian, hand-rendered, and Hawaiian-flavored typefaces were attempted, but none possessed fitting attributes. All of them came across as gimmicky. The overall vertical nature of the finalized design adheres to constraints related to the product packaging, and incorporates well into a primary aspect of the systems involved with product delivery.
